Detail: close-up The goddess standing on a lotus base on stepped plinth with paired suspension hooks on either side, her left leg slightly flexed, her right hand at her side, her left holding the stem of a padma, wearing tall conical headdress surmounted by a bud finial. Sri Devi, is one of Vishnu's two consorts, recognisable by the kuchhabandh or strap which runs across her breasts; she is normally depicted standing on the right hand side of her god, Vishnu. |
