Mysterious Pavilion: Document in stone of astronomical events

This pillar clearly shows the high quality of the sculpture on the base of the pillars, compared with the treatment of the upper parts of the pillar.
This relief depicts a maithuna, a couple in embrace. This subject is one of the indications for the age of this pavilion.
Because shortly after the beginning of the 14th century this kind of depictions were no longer popular.
