Carlo Cristi has lived and traveled in India and Southeast Asia since 1973 and has been active in Himalayan and Southeast Asian art since 1981.

Himalayan and Indian art will be exhibited along with Central Asian works of art and textiles. Notable an early Prajnaparamita and a fine Saraswati from Nepal, and , from Tibet a fine capitel from Densatil, an important Yongle bronze and early tangkas, among which are notable a mandala of Cakrasamvara and a mandala of Heruka of early period.From the indian subcontinent a fine quality Chola bronze Shiva and Parvati and a rare Samadhi Buddha, Ceylon, Polonnaruva period.
Artworks from Central Asia will include objects of high status, products of multicultural influences and exchanges. Notable a rare bronze mirror, gold laminated and studdedwith semiprecious stones, repoussé silver works with fantastic animals , silver vessels, and, among textiles, a rare woolen carpet, a tunic of fine weave and exquisite qualityand an islamic caftan, among the finest known.
