Dear Friends,
I take great pleasure announcing my participation to the fourth edition of CULTURES, which will be held from 12 to 16 June.

A diverse group of stone sculptures will include Gandhara, Khmer and Indian works, from 3rd to 11th century. Notably a Chandela sculpture showing two Apsaras is particularly attractive for the elegance of body movement, as well for his rarity.

A tangkas of Vajrapani, another with a Lama flanked by his disciples will be on show along with manuscripts of 11th century, illuminated by kashmiri artists in style associate with Tholing monastery, important religious centre of the Guge kingdom, west Tibet. A fine 12th century bronze of Vajrasattva, Pala period, a Nepalese Sitatara, 14th century, a splendid Vairocana, 14th century and a quasi unique ascetic Sadaksari, Sri Lanka, will be on show along with fine stupas of 11th and 13th century and other sculptures.

Silver works from central Asia will include a beaker with fabulous animals, a silver pearl roundel enclosing a elephant head, and, among silks, a kesi of mongol period and sogdian weaves of 7th-8th century.
