Detail: For nearly forty years, the first order of discovery, revealing the wealth of art and culture of the Han period have continued to multiply, constantly renewing Chinese archeology. These works, mainly belonging to the funeral sphere evoke the aristocratic lifestyle as well as daily activities; they are a striking humanism and also reflect the views of the afterlife prevailing during the four centuries. It opens with a richly mythological space, living immortals.

Thanks to the outstanding loan of major works from museums many Chinese provinces and presentation of archaeological finds unpublished, the national museum of Asian art - Guimet present to the public a brilliant panorama of creation under the Han, from painting to the bronzes, ceramics and lacquer objects, browsing the entire artistic creation, delicacy of the subject to the monumental sculptures.
