Detail: This sale of the collection formed by the Tokyo collector Tsuneichi Inoue encapsulates the best of collecting taste in Japan in the early to mid-20th century. Amongst the highlights feature an exceptionally rare early Ming Dynasty blue and white facetted vase, Xuande mark and period, a slip decorated Ding dish and a very rare Beishoku Guan vase, both from the Song Dynasty.
