The exhibition is slated to run from 20 September to 12 November 2017.

This collectors’ show is a wonderful opportunity for Singapore-based collectors to share their private collections with the public, as well as to show their support in the local arts scene and pride for the artists. The organizer of this exhibition, The Ryan Foundation, wishes that more collectors will come forward to showcase their art in the future.

The collectors involved in this exhibition include Jim Amberson, showcasing Cambodian artist Sopheap Pich’s rattan sculptures (1971, Cambodia), whose works are collected by the Guggenheim; Ann Mui Ling, contributing works by Singaporean artists Jimmy Ong (1964, Singapore), Ming Wong (1971, Singapore), and Genevieve Chua (1984, Singapore). Singaporean Satesh Kumar, a key Asian art collector, presents Singaporean artist Robert Zhao Ren Hui’s works, featured in the 2016 Sydney Biennale, as well as paintings by Peybak (Peyman Barabadi & Babak Alebrahim Dehkordi, 1984, Iran), which will be publicly shown in Singapore for the first time. Mr and Mrs Stephen Ng will be showing works by Handiwirman Saputra (1975, Indonesia) and Xue Song (1965, China). Finally, Ryan Su and Adrian Chan will be showcasing the works of Xu Zhen (1977, Shanghai), a Chinese contemporary artist whose works have been collected by the Foundation Louis Vuitton.
