Sano Gofu (1886-?). Born in Kyoto in March, 1886 (Meiji 19). He graduated from the Kyoto municipal Arts and Crafts school, and is competent at landscape painting as well as flowers and birds. He was nominated for the Teiten in 1930 (Showa 5).
