Amongst the antique objects we present this year such as lacquer, fine porcelain, bamboo and scholar’s objects, our highlight this year is an imperial Chinese lacquer table which is dated to the dingwei year of Wanli i.e.1607. This is important as it shows the style of “official” furniture and being dated may help with the attribution of similar pieces.
