Detail: Bodhisattva A group of three Gandharan terracotta heads comprising of Buddha, with arched eyebrows above heavy lidded eyes and gently smiling bow shaped lips. The Buddha typically has elongated earlobes, urna and wavy hair swept backwards and terminating into topknot. Bodhisattva head has similar features to the Buddha and wears an elaborate crown that features a fan like turban. The Head of a male worshiper, supports a shaven head with a section of hair remaining on his crown, unlike the Buddha and Bodhisattva heads, he wears a mustache and large beard and eyebrow. All heads are professionally mounted, sizes above do not include the stands and are actual head sizes. All three heads have been TL tested and support production during the Gandharan Period.
