Who is Chenrezig Buddha?
Chenrezig is the patron divinity of Tibet also known as Sadaksari Avalokitesvara, the very embodiment of compassion, of whom the Dalai Lamas and Songtsen Gampo are incarnations.

Characteristic of Chenrezig are his inner hands in prayer with one of his upper downturned hands holding a lotus and his other hand holding a mala.
