Would anybody have a thought on this peculiar little vase I bought recently?

Hello, Japanese vase with Chinese Chenghua mark, the blue design on the vase is known as Karakusa. As far as a date I would only be guessing without doing more research..Greg

I am sorry, you are correct, the mark is Xuande, but still Japanese as I described. Greg

Dear Greg,

thank you for your reaction. I hadn't thought of the possibilty it might be Japanese. I was thinking of a Kangxi (doll house) etagere vase, with the mark in hommage of the porcelain of the Xuande period. The vase is 7 cm high.
It would be great if you could tell me more. Is there anything I could provide you with to further the investigation?
