Subject:Need information on an old Japanese cup I have owned for many years

I need help in determining the date and any facts that can help me understand more about the cup in the photos.
The Japanese cup shown is 3" 1/4 high by 3" 1/4 across. It is made of a thin porcelain with a picture of a male on one side and a female on the other side. Between each figure there are two written areas; attached is a photo of one of the written areas. The colors are blue and white with the marks on the bottom the same color as the rest of the cup. The marks have been photographically enhanced so that they are readable. I could not send the higher quality pictures because they were over 100K.
Any help is appreciated. Thank you in advance.
