I was just wondering if anyone has any more information on this piece of art that i have linked in this post. I really want it but at the cost he's asking for i was wanting to see if anyone has any more specific info such as who made it, how many etc. and if it is worth buying. any help would be much appreciated

Dear Shawn

Do you think it is too expensive to buy decorative plastic art for USD 650.?

Is it a plastic or a cast bronze?

I can buy in China for USD -150 for a cast bronze (frame included).

I personally do not think that these three oath-brothers are heroes. The book, Romance of the Three Kingdoms is a historical novel written by Luo Guanzhong in the 14th century (Ming Dynasty). He wrote it in the favour of Lui Bei. The real hero in the history is Cao Coa, not these three fake heroes.

thank you very much for replying, it is cast bronze and the guy selling it said that he would take $350 for it as it's the last one. The paragraph on it is something i took a picture of possibly to help ID it. You say that you could find that cheaper? you wouldn't happen to know of any other place that sells that some one do you? i really liked the artwork itself and am not too concerned about what it's supposed to represent.

thanks again,

shawn

Dear Shawn

I think it was surely made in China, a mass production actually. I may find one at Chinese art and Craft Department Store in HK and some art centres in Shen Zhen.

Does it come with artist's signature engraved on the piece with the certificate and info of the artist? If any, USD 350.- is ok for a limited edition.
