Subject:Pottery Makers Impression
Posted By: David Thu, Apr 10, 2008 IP: 96.236.132.6

I am new to this post and was guided here by Robert Yellin of Robert Yellin Yakimono Gallery. He thought I may be able to find some assistance. I am trying to identify the Makers impression and get some information on this pottery. Aprox. 9" high, 8 1/2" diamater, 3" opening, 4 1/4" diamater base

Please advise

Thank You for your time
David

I think that it is Misugi, which is Japanese.

Wingchuntaiji,
As in Takatoshi Misugi, 79 year old expert in the field !??? Or is that a very common name/mark ?

Would you date this from the 1930-1960 peroid
