Subject:Help with small Chinese/Japanese container, What is it, How old?
Posted By: Carl Klempner Fri, Apr 18, 2008 IP: 71.184.4.137 I have owned this for over 40 years and have no clue as to what it is. The inside has the remains of a black caked on substance. It gives the impression of being exposed to heat. The top of the container is uneven but smooth as if the top was broken off many years ago and was used without the top.
