I bought this in Australia maybe 15 years ago and it is solid porcelain painted using glazes and maybe multiple firings.

This piece is about an inch thick, about 5' wide and 3.5' tall and is very heavy.

One picture has a motorcycle helmet in it which should give you a good idea of the size.

Any help would be appreciated.

Ok, I should have attached something. This is pretty much all I have for the moment as I am in Spain at the moment so can't really take any more pictures until I get back.

I would say this was new when purchased. This looks very similar to other large overly busy decorated wall plaques that are shown at every modern Chinese Jingdezhen ceramic exhibition. Older late Qing and Republic period plaques tend to be much smaller and dainty. Nothing this massive.
