Can anyone please read this mark for me? I am interested to know what it says. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi Jon,

The mark says "Da Qing Qianlong nian zhi" but the piece is (rather)new...

Regards,

Arjan

The six-character apocryphal mark says 'Made during the Qianlong reign of the great Qing dynasty' (da qing qianlong nian zhi). Since the piece looks like it is transfer-decorated the earliest it could date is to the 1930's, though there's a great possibility of it being post-1950.

Best regards,

Bill H.
