Posted By: LEE Sat, Mar 06, 2010 Sorry, this one was made to replicate a ming wucai Swatow bowl. However they got the base wrong. It should have a thicker foot with sand particles stuck on it, in a very crude way. That was how the Swatow Teochew porters separate the bowl from the klin. These poor quality mingyao ware were meant for export to southeast asia. This one is probably a 1950's Japanese replica.
