It is difficult to judge the age of some dishes like these, because many Kangxi-era patterns were reissued during the late Qing 'Kangxi Revival'. |

Posted By: Kareem Shehadeh Sun, Jul 01, 2012 My family has been antique collectors, more oriental carpets, as we are ME background, but some China. Can you suggest some good readings and learning approaches, Ive been researching and its becoming a fascinating hobby. Spent the day in Victoria and Albert Museum China department and many hours on the internet. Ive noticed that many have marks and many others dont have them. i understand the ones without were export either for Middle East or Europe. is that right? I really appreciate your comments. Thank you. Kareem |
