Subject:Mark on China Jar
Posted By: Kareem Shehadeh Sun, Jul 01, 2012 IP: 217.83.82.161 Hi, this is one of the few china we have with mark. As far as I know, export china to middle east and europe often did not have marks. I dont know about marks and how to recognise them, just learning. Can you take a look and tell me your opinion? Your time and knowledge is greatly appreciated. Thank you. Kareem

Posted By: adam Mon, Jul 02, 2012 Its a piece of imari, but looks like a european mark... Know that several UK firms did versions of japanese Imari (Masons Ironstone did imari stuff)and crown derby did most of their pieces in the red blue and gold... as did some european and chinese..
