I plan to pass this print along to a friend and teacher of mine, so would like to be sure of the message before doing so.
Any help appreciated.

it's nothing inappropriate, something like:

After snow, seek out plum blossoms.
Before frost, search for chrysanthemum.
When it rains, protect orchids(?).
When winds blow, listen to the bamboo.
