Subject:Jade/Serpentine/Other

Hard stone pendant, material?

Would appreciate your thoughts guys. My first thoughts were jadeite but now I'm not too sure.
It has a slightly different look to it than some
other jade in my collection.

Yes, it is Jadeite, but it has been artificially aged ( dipped in dye stuff).

Thanks Ernest. To help me in gaining more of an understanding of the subject could you explain how you are able to tell that it has been dipped in dye and the aging is not a natural occurrence?
