Posted By: Jim Wed, Jul 18, 2012 Have you considered caligraphy brush rests? They would certainly work, and accomodate three brushes. I have a carved ivory dragon rest for two brushes, five inches long, but I have seen longer rests that still only accomodate two brushes. Just a thought, Jim |

Posted By: rat Wed, Jul 25, 2012 I think SEAsian is the right track. these dragons don't look like any Chinese versions I've seen, and are most likely not chariot fittings, which in China were typically functional items such as axle caps or joinery hardware, whereas these appear purely decorative |
