I have had this for a few decades and purchased from on old estate sale. Looking for who the artist is and the time frame- painting is done on silk or cloth? Any info would be great. Thanks in advance.

Your painting is obviously a representation of the Christian Madonna and child done in ink and color on silk. Stylistically I would place it in the mid to late Twentieth Century[1950-1965] The plum blossoms in the background symbolize rebirth.

Yes this seems more likely Korean, where Christianity has a strong presence, perhaps Japanese where Christianity is much less encountered.

Japanese Christian Painting. I've heard stories that this type of work were usually done privately (or secretly)... thus it's a challenge to find out the names of the artists. If your work is authentic and original, you might want to be careful and not give it up too quickly. Good luck.
