Subject:Help with chop mark
Posted By: Cristina Tue, Apr 30, 2013 IP: 37.11.36.161 I would be grateful if anyone could translate the japanese? writing on the painting and the chop mark. I have no idea of possible date either. I live in Spain and it has been impossible to find anyone to help me. Thank you in advance. Criss.

Posted By: Y. E. Wong Fri, May 03, 2013 I found another work online, with a similar name, "映水" pronounced "Eimizu". Japanese Madonna paintings are difficult to identify, and there are nuns or students who would make copies of their masters' work. Please check link regarding this. Good luck.
