Subject:Help ID Chinese Mark!

I have two vases that have this mark on the bottom. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

The characters are "Cheng Hua Nian Zhi". "Cheng Hua" is the years between 1457 to 1487. "Nian" means "Year". And "Zhi" means "Made".

You might wish to use the forum's search feature, toward the right side, near the top of the page, to search the term "chenghua". This will bring up earlier threads concerning vases with the mark, perhaps among them some that resemble yours, which probably aren't of the period.

Best regards,

Bill H.
