Posted By: john Sat, May 04, 2013 The two characters, 晓山,is most likely the name of a Japanese kiln. And the pattern is more Japanese than Chinese. So I am almost positive that this is a Japanese bowl. |

Posted By: Bill H Mon, May 06, 2013 The character 晓 is a variant of 暁 (dawn), and when the latter is coupled as 暁山 forms the name Gyouzan or Gyozan, which turns up on eBay and other auction sites on antique and vintage Japanese pottery.
