Posted By: Chadkeath Sun, May 05, 2013 IP: 67.61.55.252 Hi I am hoping someone may be able to help identify who the artist of this may be. I have another piece by this person. Hoping someone may realize who did this by the style and seal. Great pieces. They are older pieces and large.

Posted By: rat Mon, May 06, 2013 Can't read the seal from your photo, but these are called "peasant paintings", typically created by members of farming communities in China and were popular export items in the 1980s. I imagine they are still being produced. Can you post a better photo of the seal? That will probably indicate the cooperative or location that produced yours
