Subject:Chinese Scroll Book Help
Posted By: Joe Mon, May 06, 2013 IP: 24.44.44.121 Can anyone help in identifying and or translating my Chinese scroll book. It is a total of 17 pages long. Does the translation indicate the age of the book? I will post more pictures once this message is posted. Thank you in advance. Joe

Posted By: rat Tue, May 07, 2013 this is a lowish quality reproduction of a very well known Song dynasty scroll that is usually attributed to Zhang Zeduan and which goes by various titles, including "Going Upriver at the Qingming Festival". These are available quite inexpensively online. For an excellent and magnifiable online version of the original scroll, however, by all means see:
