I recently found these two pieces of art in an old 1860's atlas i'm trying to find out as much as i can on them

Woodblock. Hiroshige. Quite new. If we saw the entire picture we could tell you more.

These are Japanese woodblock prints by Hiroshige. The top print is from the Hoeido edition of his 53 Stations of the Tokaido. It is station #31 Maisaka. Your prints have been "creped". These don't look to be original prints but a later reproduction. Compare the red seal below the signature in the top picture to the original.

The second print is station #52 Ishibe from the aforementioned series.
