The mark reads down as "Eiraku" (永楽), which may be translated as "unending joy". It also is the reign title "Yongle" for the Chinese emperor on the throne from 1723-35, during which time the coinage of the reign was circulating in Japan (during the Muromachi and early Edo periods).
I've seen this mark used on Kutani wares. See the link below to an online listing of an Eiraku cup. If you use the search feature on the same site, you can see a more representative selection of Eiraku wares and glean some information about the Eiraku kilns.
