Posted By: Bill H Sun, May 26, 2013 I'll defer on the seals and translation of most of the cursive script, but there's also a cyclical date of the eighth month of "jia chen" (1904, 1964) in the line shown in the second photo. |

Posted By: rat Fri, May 31, 2013 What is the size of the picture? Looks almost like an album leaf, which is not his usual format. The left half of the picture reflects his mature style but the right half seems unduly prominent, the architecture too pronounced, for him. The picture must be in the PRC somewhere, I'll try to look for it. Of value as a Rongbaozhai reproduction (seems dated 1955 in the lower left) which were the highest quality made in China at that time, but the picture itself I'm still iffy on. |
