Hello,
I recently obtained an old chest. It is in poor shape, but I liked the artwork. I have look on it and I cannot find anything saying who/when/where it was made.

I was wondering is the character in the center is from an Asian Language. If it is, can you tell me what it means and which language? Thank you for any help.

I found this information, but if anyone has any ideas on how old the chest is that would be great.
