Subject:Any Help on Fukagawa(?) Cup and Saucer Appreciated
Posted By: Lance Frazer Fri, May 19, 2017 IP: 2601:0204:4001:3df5:

A small tea cup (I assume) and saucer, hand painted. The cup is unmarked, but the saucer bears a Mount Fuji and stream mark, along with another mark which may be too blurred for identification. I'm trying to find out how old this cup and saucer are (my sense is fairly modern), so would be most grateful for any assistance.

Looks like a print with poor quality pigment brushed on. Could possibly be modern Chinese piece, but hard to tell without seeing the whole item. The rim looks sort of like some type of Kutani ware.
