Can You help me to identify the mark (perhaps Hosai?) and the written inside this little box (7 cm). Thank You. Kind regards.

Reads 豊示, pronounced 'Hôji' or eventually 'Toyoji'.

Dear Guy,
Thank You very much. I try to find some other pottery piece with this mark but without success. Do You think it's an original satsuma piece or not? And in your opinion is it taisho or early showa?

I not a specialist in this field. Others could come in to answer your question. Probably lta Meiji to Taisho period.

Guy,

Could this be only 1 character 禮 (Rei)?
I search the internet with "Rei Satsuma" and found the same marks referred as Rei.
Regards,
Martin.

I saw that the left side of the character 禮 not is displayed as seen on the photo of the signature, which has to do with the font used by Asian Arts Forums.
Using fonts like Arial, Segoe UI etc. in Excel, you get the correct character with the horizontal and vertical lines.
Regards,
Martin.
