Posted By: Bill H Thu, Jul 20, 2017 Looks like a temple lion from Laos. The link is to a photo of one sourced to a temple in Vientiane. A lot of temple art like this, antique and newer decorative imitations, came out of Laos in the household goods of diplomats and others who worked there circa the 1960's-1970's. In my opinion, it would take hands-on examination by an expert to get an estimate of how old those at your spa might be. You sure they aren't bronze with a stucco veneer to accommodate the mirrored pieces? |
