Subject:Unidentified Kutani mark
Posted By: Martin Michels Wed, Jul 19, 2017 IP: 84.26.216.123

I found this Kutani censer (see 1st picture) on the internet with a Kutani mark underneath (see 2nd picture). On the right of course "Kutani", but I have no idea what's written on the left.
Has someone any idea? Is it Kanji and which characters and/or what name(?) is written?
Thanks in advance,
Martin.

sources, among the works of Kutani Shozo there are

If authentic Shozo, your piece would date to the late Edo/early Meiji Period.
