Subject:Can anyone help identify small Chinese Vase
Posted By: Rubin Mendoza Thu, Jul 20, 2017 IP: 2605:e000:86da:7e00:

Hello. Can anyone identify this small (5" tall x 4" wide), yellow, Chinese vase? I have had this stored for over thirty years, and am now wanting to find out it's origins, if possible. Thank you!

The seal script reads:
乾隆年製 Qianlong era product
Refers to the era of Qianlong, the 4th Qing
Emperor (1736-1793).

Please forgive my ignorance with this matter... But does, "brush pot, with apocryphal QianLong mark", mean that this piece is an imitation?

Thank you...
