Subject:Chinese Painting Help
Posted By: Brett Sun, Aug 20, 2017 IP: 69.117.76.255 I purchased this today. It is a watercolor painting of a woman surrounded by animals. Is this anyone from folklore that worked with / tended to animals? Also any idea what the inscription and chops says, and the artist's name? Thanks for any help I always appreciate it. |

Posted By: Brett Wed, Aug 23, 2017 Thanks for the help to both of you. I saw a that page that says his works are being requested by auction houses, but I see no prices on any of the pages that show examples of his work. Are his works going cheaply on these auction sites / houses or is there any monetary value. I'm not sure if you see any of this information on any Chinese auction sites, but if you come across any information I would appreciate it. Thanks for the work you have done, I really appreciate it. |
