Here is the translation of the text.

仲よき事は美しき哉  Naka yoki koto wa utsukushiki
kana
It is beautiful to get along with each other
or fig.
How beautiful to have good friends

This is a quite famous sentence from the Japanese novelist Mushanokoji Saneatsu (1855-1976), in his old years he used to write this sentence on colored poetry cards (Shikishi) decorated with the pictures of vegetables.

The bottom mark reads,
清山  Seizan
I think some more expert member will able to give explanation about the mark and kiln etc.
