Subject:Japanese Arita teapot
Posted By: Adriano Scazzosi Tue, Nov 07, 2017 IP: 87.15.161.142

I would like to identify the mark of this teapot.
It is blue and white Arita style, hand painted including the mark.
I found it in a thrift shop, I took it because it is nicely painted despite it look me brand new.
I tried searching in the recent Arita production marks, but nothing of similar.
Probably some Member that can read Japanese (or Chinese?) can help me.

Thank you.

The mark reads: Kozan 幸山 Gama 窯 in a stylistic way.
The mark differs from another Kozan Gama mark (see picture). The 1st character and the style of the mark are different, so I don't think it's the same company.
Regards,
Martin.

Marking reads;
幸山窯 Kozan-gama (Not the other 庫山窯 Kozan-gama)
Name of an old pottery (founded in Edo period) in Fukushima Prefecture. (Nanie Town, Futaba County)
