hello
i have this pair of chinese porcelain bowls
they are 20 cm in wideth and they are marked, can anyone
help me to detarmine the age and period of them .

Dear Jack

This is Qianlong or slightly later, I suspect. The bottom looks properly 18th century. The mark is a meaningless shop logo, common for the era.

Some people say it is advisable to remove the metal brackets to prevent damage. Dutch homes often hung 18th century Chinese porcelains on their walls. Is there any visible damage on these?
