Currently there is an eBay listing 331859430686
for such a covered dish, signed on the base "Japan [character trademark] Sato."

Many similar rose motifs can be seen on mid-20th century Japanese cloisonne. The Google images search I used was "Japanese cloisonne roses box"

Hi, it is Japanese, early to mid 2oth c. They are usually signed, look somewhere on the silver for an impressed marking. Good luck! | Associations | Articles | Exhibitions | Galleries |
