Subject:Butterfly 19th C. Vase
Posted By: william Sat, Dec 30, 2017 IP: 66.130.74.157 It is mounted on a late 19th century kerosene lamp and later converted to electricity. Could the vase be older than the lamp? Thanks |

Posted By: Corey Tue, Jan 09, 2018 Also came across this famille verté/wucai Kangxi period vase, which is in the National Palace Museum. I find it interesting how the enamels resembles those of the vase at the bidsquare site. Makes me wonder if that one is actually a mark and period example rather than a 19/20th century copy.
