Does this piece have any collectible value?

Your dish shows average wear but still strikes me as a nice example of the palette some collectors call "Mandarin Blue", actually famille verte with attractive blues. I have a selection of such wares in my own collection. I believe they all date from the fourth quarter of the 19th century.

A survey of liveauctioneers.com turned up some in the backgrounds of some lots but no individual pieces with hammer prices showing. Since size counts, it would be difficult to figure a value for your dish without dimensions, but I can show you a couple of my pieces for comparison. The 10.5 inch saucer shaped "charger" is in good condition and probably would fetch around US$500-$600 at auction, while the more rare Cadogan teapot, about six inches tall and also in quite good shape, might make it into the low four figures.

Best regards,

Bill H.
