The mark, shown upside down, reads down and across from the right as "Hizen, Arita, Shiroiwa". Hizen is the old province around Arita, a town historically associated with Japanese porcelain production. Shiroiwa is the kiln that made the plate. This is probably a late 20th century dish, although the kiln seems to have been in operation much longer. Here's a link to an earlier thread with further information.
