Hello, Can someone please translate the etched characters in this shell bi pendant and give me an approx date on it? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated! Thank you! David.

Reading,
花好圓月 - Blooming flowers and full moon -
(usu. as a congratulatory message for sb.`s marriage)
The 3rd character (圓)is written in the simplified
form means, it has been made after the 1950-es.
In my opinion it could be only a couple of years old.

With regards,

A very common cheng yu (4-character Chinese idiom),
reading from top to bottom, then from left to right on your pendant:

花好月圓

花好 - when flowers are blooming and perfectly beautiful;
月圓 - when the moon is full (round like a circle).

usually used in congratulating other's marriage.

Probably made in the 40s or 50s.
