Hello to everyone,
this is a raised panel art of hunters. Does anyone know the style of art, period and the artist?

thanks

I believe you have a gilt papier-mâché rubbing of warriors from a Cambodian temple relief, possibly at the Bayon at Angkor or one of the smaller copies at Wat Po or another temple in Thailand. Here's a link to online information concerning the Bayon carvings and a photo of a deeper relief rubbing of a celestial singer called an "apsara" from my collection, which item probably came from a Khmer temple in Thailand.

Best regards,

Bill H.
