Subject:Chinese Flambé Vase

Hi, once again this is another item from a small collection that my father purchase in the mid 1950’s from an Estate auction of a friend. Apparently he was a missionary in China during the late 1800’s and early 1900’s. There are no marks to identify. the period for this one either. There is a chip to the rim. Is it safe to assume that this is from that period or earlier or is there anything about the Vase that looks wrong. Many thanks to the wonderful people who share their knowledge on the forum.
